All About Program & Education
NCJW, Cleveland Section hosts three major meetings throughout the year.
- Our Fall Meeting usually features a prominently known speaker. A fundraising luncheon is held before the program.
- In November, Cleveland Section hosts the annual Lois Zaas Memorial Lecture. This thought-provoking meeting, in memory of Lois Zaas, relates to current issues of importance to our membership.
- Our Spring Luncheon includes an Installation of Officers and Board Members and brings members up to date on Cleveland Section’s year-long events.
NCJW Cleveland Section is proud of its On-Going Programs:
Art Appreciation Series – Each year NCJW, Cleveland Section offers a series of eight art appreciation lectures. There is a small fee for the eight sessions. This program is very popular and is usually “sold out” early in the Fall.
Book Group – The NCJW Book Group has been meeting monthly for many years. For now, we are meeting at Cladaugh's Pub at Legacy Village, the first Thursday of every month. For those who would like, we meet at 12:00 for lunch. The Book Discussion begins at 1:00. While Amy Rosenfield (formerly of Joseph Beth Bookseller's) is available, she will facilitate the Book Group and we each pay $5.00 (well worth it) for her preparation and leadership. Check the Upcoming Events on the Home Page of this website for the monthly book selection.
Any member is welcome to join the group for one or more sessions.
Many other programs are held throughout the year. Look for them on the front of our website or on the NCJW, Cleveland Section Calendar – Click Here
